How to Check Your CSCS Account Online
- Have your CHN and the e-CSCS online-access details you registered ready. If you have not registered, ask the CSCS or your stockbroker for help with the registration and identity checks.
- Go to the official CSCS website and open the e-CSCS investor portal from there. Never follow a sign-in link in a text message or email.
- Sign in using your registered e-CSCS access details. If you cannot sign in, contact the CSCS through its published support channels or ask your stockbroker to help recover access.
- View the holdings under your CHN, checking the company names and the quantity of shares recorded for each company.
- To keep a record, download or request a CSCS portfolio statement. The statement guide explains both the portal and broker routes: sharessaver.com/blog/download-cscs-statement-nigeria.
What you can see online
Your CSCS record shows the shares held electronically under your CHN, with the company name and quantity of shares for each holding. The CSCS is the central securities depository; your CHN is the investor reference used to connect you to that record.
It shows only holdings in the CSCS depository under that CHN. Shares still on paper certificates remain on the company register with its registrar and do not appear in your CSCS account until they are dematerialised. Holdings under a different CHN are on that other record, and shares held under a nominee account do not appear under your personal CHN.
If you can't sign in or have no CHN

Ask your stockbroker to confirm your CHN and holdings. A broker linked to your CSCS account can provide portfolio information or a statement after verifying your identity, and can assist with e-CSCS registration or account queries. You can also contact the CSCS through its published support channels for access help.
If you have lost your CHN, check an existing CSCS or broker statement, your broker account profile or registrar correspondence. If you only hold paper certificates, those holdings may not yet have a CHN because they have not been dematerialised.
